Kristi Elan Caplinger (Courtni) Cappy is making her third appearance in a Frank J. Avella play. She received her B.A. in Fine Arts: Theater from Ramapo College of NJ in May 2001 and has since done her part for New York City-based films. Kristi has appeared in several off-off Broadway One-Acts, such as Grandma, Grandpa and Car and Gertrude Down. Having just wrapped two independent film shorts (What Could Happen in Fifteen Minutes? and Milk), she is pleased to, once again, tread the warped boards of off-off Broadway. She thanks her families, past, present, and future for the joy they bring.

Wind Klaison (Jeanetta) appeared in Love Among Squirrels at the Sanford Meisner Theater in June. This is her first New Cockpit Ensemble production.

Patricia McCurdy (Sylvia) appeared as Ana Crowning in Entitled by new playwright Cynthia Moore. Other credits range from Shakespeare, Chekhov (Madame Ranevsky in The Cherry Orchard) and Joyce to O’Neill (Mary Tyrone in Long Days Journey Into Night), Christopher Durang and Lanford Wilson. Has appeared in Independent films including Watching, using the Dogma technique.

Brian Townes (Tony) is thrilled to once again be working with the New Cockpit Ensemble. He appeared in the Spring production of Lexy as well as Michael’s #1 Fan. Other NYC credits include: work at the Neighborhood Playhouse, the Abington Theatre, Co., Playwright’s Horizons and on  ABC’s ALL MY CHILDREN. He is currently filming the mystery romance, A Perfect Love, scheduled for release in 2003.

Frank J. Avella (Author/Director) NY stage: wrote & directed Lexy, Michael’s #1 Fan, 3 Cains, Unhinging and portions of the anthology evening: Screams from the Cockpit. Jody C. Ratti (Lighting Design) is a graduate of Lock Haven University with degrees in Technical Theatre and Literature.  A NJ native, this is his 2nd New Cockpit production. Design work includes: Crazy for You, The Music Man, Romeo and Juliet, Six Characters in Search of an Author, Annie, Same Time, Next Year, and Catch Me if You Can.  Many thanks to his family, friends, and such.

Cristina M. Rodrigues (Set Design) is proud to be a part of About Christine. She holds a degree in Interior Design and has been a consultant in both Interior Design and Decor. Cristina currently holds the position of Decorator Consultant for one of the nations leading studios.

Jonathan Hoop (Sound Design/Original Music) is making his NYC theatrical debut as composer. An aspiring musician, Jonathan is lead singer of Union Hill, a NJ-based rock band.He has studied music and theatre and is a thespian himself. His influences range from Bob Dylan to Stone Temple Pilots. Jonathan is destined to leave a lasting impression.
